Mitra Gadhavi is an Indian actor, writer and lyricist from Gujarat.
He is known for his roles in films such as Chhello Divas, Bas Ek Chance, Shu Thayu?, and 3 Ekka.[1][2][3] His career as a theatre artist spanned more than a decade.[4] His short production Anita became the first ever Gujarati movie to be screened at Venice Film Festival.[5][6]
He had tested positive for COVID in January [7][8][9] During the pandemic, Mitra was applauded for using social media platforms to exaggerate SOS calls of patients across Delhi and Gujarat.[10]
As a youngster, Mitra was keen to deliver on stage.
Later, he decided to pursue acting as a profession, and moved to Mumbai.[11]
